Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how Version Tracker handles your data. In short: Version Tracker does not collect personal data, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell user data to anyone. Any data shared by the app is strictly limited, optional, and described below.
What information we collect
We do not collect or store any personal information such as your name, email address, IP address, or payment details.
All license purchases are handled by our payment and licensing partner, Stripe. Any personal information you provide during checkout (such as your email) is processed directly by them in accordance with their own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
How Version Tracker works
Version Tracker runs entirely on your local machine and works with different sources to manage your applications. It does not upload or transmit information about your apps, system, or files.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand general website usage (e.g., page views, device type, referrer). Plausible is a privacy-first analytics provider that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors.

Data retention
Version Tracker does not retain personal user data. Any purchase-related data is stored securely by Stripe and subject to their retention policy.
Your rights
If you made a purchase through Stripe you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data through them. Version Tracker does not hold or control any of your personal data.
International users
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with privacy regulations, you should know that:
- We do not collect, process, or store personal data such as names, contact information, or device identifiers.
- All personal data is processed by Stripe under their GDPR-compliant policies.
- No personal user data is transmitted by the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify users through our website or in-app.
